Additional Information

Pleora will be demonstrating bandwidth and CPU benefits for embedded imaging and sensor devices with the new GEV to Thunderbolt external frame grabber solution. The external frame grabber provides system manufacturers and integrators with cost and design flexibility advantages by converting GigE Vision cameras into native PCIe cameras that transport high-speed imaging and video data over the widely available Thunderbolt 3 capable USB 4 link via a USB-C connection. This provides designers with a broader selection of smaller form factor, low-power computing platforms to help reduce system costs for embedded applications.

Pleora will also demonstrate its eBUS Edge software platform that converts cameras, imaging solutions and embedded and IoT devices to a fully compliant GigE Vision, GenICam device without requiring any additional hardware. The software transmitter enables seamless standards-based receive and transmit video capabilities across networked single-board solutions, which will be demonstrated on a Raspberry Pi 5B Board, before the vision standard video is handed off for processing and analysis. This ensures low latency and performance and optimized CPU performance.

These demos will be featured at the Vision China Shanghai and Beijing Exhibition at the Viewsitec Booth, #TBD.
