Additional Information

Visit Pleora at booth 1502 for an imaging and sensor device demonstration with the new GEV to Thunderbolt external frame grabber. The external frame grabber provides system manufacturers and integrators with cost and design flexibility advantages by converting GigE Vision cameras into native PCIe cameras that transport high-speed imaging and video data over the widely available Thunderbolt cabling. With this approach designers can leverage the cabling and multicasting advantages of GigE Vision imaging solutions for more complex higher-speed applications while taking full advantage of the capabilities of lower cost, smaller form factor CPU platforms for processing, analysis, display, and recording.

Pleora will also be showcasing the patented RapidPIX™ lossless compression technology, now available on the iPORT NTx-Mini-LC embedded interface, which aids performance without additional costs by increasing data throughput over installed Ethernet infrastructure. This solution provides a compression-enabled drop-in upgrade of the widely deployed NTX-Mini embedded interface. With added compression, designers can deploy the iPORT NTx-Mini-LC to support low latency transmission of GigE Vision compliant packets at more than 1.5 Gbps throughput rates over existing 1 Gb Ethernet infrastructure.

These demos will be featured at the 2025 SPIE Defense & Commercial Sensing Exhibition, Orlando, FL, booth 1502.
